In your first session, we will go over your history and complete some assessments. We also will discuss your goals and work on developing a treatment plan. I love actively working with clients and provide practical tips and tools so they can achieve the goals they are working on. Vicky Alvarez, LMSW, SSW, CCTP has over 25 years of experience working with adults, children and adolescents. She graduated from Michigan State University and earned a Master in Clinical Social Work degree. She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Vicky has worked with Genesys Hillside Center, Oakland Psychological Clinic and Hurley Mental Health Associates. She is the owner of Best Life Therapy, LLC and also sees clients at Great Lakes Psychology Group in Grand Blanc. She is passionate about helping people who struggle with stress, anxiety, depression or dealing with strain associated with work or family life. If you are having difficulty adjusting to major life transitions related to health issues, parenting, divorce, empty nest syndrome, aging parents or retirement don't hesitate to reach out. Currently, Vicky Alvarez is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, McLaren, Priority Health, Oscar Health, Aetna, Cigna/ Evernorth, Optum, United Healthcare and Oxford. The frequency of your sessions is up to you. Most clients meet weekly and eventually transition to every other week. Best Life Therapy accepts HSAs and most major credit cards. Please call your insurance company before being seen to be sure they will cover the cost of your session. Best Life Therapy can provide you an estimate, but your insurance company ultimately decides if they will pay for sessions. If they do not, clients are responsible for the cost of therapy. Insurance companies can explain copays/deductibles and are able to provide you with the most accurate estimate. Billing at Best Life Therapy is done through either Headway or Simple Practice. After requesting an appointment, most new clients receive an email from both Headway and Simple Practice. Required consent forms and payment information must be complete in both platforms at least 24-48 hours before you're scheduled to be seen to avoid having to reschedule. Payment information is required in advance to cover copays and deductibles. Charges are not applied until appointments are complete. Private pay clients pay in advance using a HIPPA compliant app called IVY Pay. Please email or call Best Life Therapy, LLC with any questions.
