Virtual support groups are offered for educators, parents and caregivers. Expand your network of support while learning coping strategies to prevent burnout, decrease stress, anxiety and depression. Groups are designed to provide skills and empower participants to live their best life. Online, therapist led, support groups offer clients a relaxing way to learn, connect with others who have similar experiences and gain support from the comfort of their own home. The cost of group sessions is much less than individual therapy and will vary depending upon the number of participants ($20-$50 per session). Most groups run for 6-8 weeks and meet online weekly. There is a limited number of participants (6-8 per session). Sign up for your virtual support group today by emailing hope@vickyalvareztherapy.com for additional details.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are common but uncomfortable emotions. Often times, we have no control over what is triggering our symptoms and that can be incredibly overwhelming. Family and relationship stress can worsen our anxiety, causing people to experience sleep difficulties, weight gain, headaches and other physical difficulties. If you are feeling sadness, worrying often, experiencing communication problems in relationships and these things are causing you distress, consider contacting Vicky Alvarez for an appointment. Therapy can help you process your feelings, gain insight and identify steps that you can take to find the joy you have been searching for. Please email with any questions. New clients can request appointments online using the appointment request link on the home page of this website.
